Referral Information for Behavioral Health Care Managers & Therapeutic Consultants

As a Harvard-trained Clinical Psychologist (intern and clinical fellowship) and attorney as well with 25 years of Family Court experience, my practice is built for the complexity your clients carry.  My dual background in psychology and law means I am fluent in both the clinical and legal dimensions of high-conflict family systems, custody disputes, and crisis-driven life transitions — the situations where many generalist therapists struggle.

I have also served as a Harvard Medical School Department of Psychiatry faculty member for 30 plus years before returning to my roots in Michigan.  In that role, I taught and supervised trainees in Clinical Psychologist, Psychiatry and Social Work.  I was also a board member of the Boston Institute for Psychotherapy and served as its President from 2011-15.

Now that I reside in Michigan, I am PSYPACT authorized, providing telehealth therapy across 43 states (plus Massachusetts) — so geography is rarely a barrier for your placed clients.   Working in HIPAA compliant telehealth platforms, clients can typically begin within days of referral.

I am well-suited for clients dealing with:

  • Executives, professionals and HNWI individuals requiring discretion, expertise and concierge level attentiveness.
  • Divorce, separation, and high-conflict co-parenting
  • Anxiety, depression, and mood dysregulation
  • Life transition and acute adjustment challenges
  • Family systems under legal or financial stress

Experienced family law attorneys know that client depression, anxiety, and impulsivity don't just cause personal suffering — they produce counterproductive actions that can damage their case.

Reactive communications, poor courtroom demeanor, alienating behavior with children — these are clinical problems with clinical solutions.

Dr. Rosen brings 25 years as a Family Court psychologist to help your clients contain their emotions, make better decisions, and present themselves effectively — in mediation, in depositions, and before he court.
