As a Harvard-trained Clinical Psychologist (intern and clinical fellowship) and attorney as well with 25 years of Family Court experience, my practice is built for the complexity your clients carry. My dual background in psychology and law means I am fluent in both the clinical and legal dimensions of high-conflict family systems, custody disputes, and crisis-driven life transitions — the situations where many generalist therapists struggle.
I have also served as a Harvard Medical School Department of Psychiatry faculty member for 30 plus years before returning to my roots in Michigan. In that role, I taught and supervised trainees in Clinical Psychologist, Psychiatry and Social Work. I was also a board member of the Boston Institute for Psychotherapy and served as its President from 2011-15.
